Lasts

We didn't get to do everything we wanted to do before we left Charlotte. We really would have loved to visit the mountains one last time, but we did get to do a few things.
One last time to the Knights baseball game. This is Tommy getting really excited about the foul ball being caughtThis is the reason Rachel loves the game
The kids were up late a few nights of our last week and we let them have the experience of seeing and catching fireflies. Watching them running and giggling after those things has become one of my favorite highlights of our 4 years in Charlotte.
One last time out to the farms to pick blueberries and peaches.

Fresh fruit "splashies" as they like to call them. SO good!
One last time to Zaxby's.
We experienced a lot of "lasts" last week and they are certainly hard on the soul.

More to come about the move...

Lasts are hard but at least there are lasts to be had! I hope that makes sense - basically, you're lucky to have lived in Charlotte. I'm sure you'll be saying the same thing about NY someday. :)

Wow Colie, that was well said! Kind of like, "is it better to love and lose or to have never loved at all?" Or some combination like that. Anyway, Charlotte will always be in your hearts....and now the next adventure
