Easter

My Easter pictures and movies are gone too :(  So just imagine Easter baskets with a jump rope, water gun, and bubbles with the cutest chocolate shaped animals (duck, pig, cow, elephant) and some cute pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes.  Luckily, for the egg hunt I had Anita take pictures while I did the video, so we have these.

Do you like our last minute resourceful fruit tray Easter basket?

I really like this action shot, and that she is wearing sneakers and a dress

Just happy to be involved.  I showed her one egg, she found another one and put it next to the one I showed her

Good huntin'

I'm rich, I'm rich!!

I must say Easter time is a really great time to visit Belgium...chocolate heaven!  I was loving it.  The kids were too...so much so that the Easter bunny had to take the chocolate away because it was causing tummy troubles :)
And our Easter dinner was cheese and bread and salad and perfect!

PS I'm having a really hard time with this "new look" on blogger.  I can't seem to organize my pictures and text like I used to.

4 countries in 5 days

But we did stop to smell the flowers :)

After a day to recuperate in Brussels we did a weekend trip up to Holland. Unfortunately I uploaded my pictures to a temporary account on their computer and they disappeared once the computer shut down. I lost all my pictures from downtown Brussels with all the fun Easter displays in the chocolate shops and all my pictures from Holland. THANKFULLY Anita brought her camera too and so we have a few to prove that we were there.Biking in Kinderdijk with Pop and Grammie
I have always wondered how Jake could eat the same lunch every day and not get sick of it, but I could probably eat a baguette sandwich everday...easy!
We were still a bit too early for tulips. We saw mostly hyacinths. The aroma that filled the air and hit you in the face as soon as you opened the car door was AMAZING!!!
Rachie was really cute. We hopped a fence to get a picture on this field. Despite the fact that mom and dad did it and were telling her it was okay she resisted hard yelling, "but we're not allowed!"This one was free reign and the kids had a blast running up and down the rows!
And did you take note of the jackets? It was FREEZING!

Spring

Spring has sprung here and we have been enjoying some warmth, some life, some color... even though the temperatures have been finicky.

Popcorn balls that smell so sweet!
She loves our Family Home Evenings. She goes right to the couch and folds her arms. She tries to sing the songs, and she knows treats always come at the end.
Rachel's spring piano recital was on Saturday. It was a duet recital and her partner did not show, so he teacher filled in for the other girl. It was a really fun recital and Rachel thoroughly enjoyed watching the others perform as well.
