Atlantic City

My mom treated us to a little spring break getaway to Atlantic City.  The kids LOVED the hotel, and we probably could have spent the entire time there.  There's always way too much to do, so little time to do it!
Lily was not too sure about the pool, the second day she slowly warmed up to it.

She is a big fan of baths though.

It was not a bad drive out there.  I think it was only an hour and a half.  Lily was not happy to be getting back in the car.  This is a face she likes to make a lot.

Jake read online about this elephant structure called Lucy.  He was pretty adamant about seeing it ;)  It is a "historic landmark" after all.  The kids thought it was the coolest thing and really enjoyed the tour inside!

We then headed to the famous Steel Pier for some amusement rides.  We timed it right!  We were there before any crowds.  So glad they didn't have to wait in any lines.

Good thing Grandma likes the teacups.  Bleh!

Not too sure about the Carousel either.

Funnel cakes.  Mmmmm!

Despite it being chilly we still enjoyed the beach

Shooting gallery.  Tommy could have played it all day.
 Back home on Sunday.

And to finish the adventure off, we watched Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, the movie based off of the horse diving they used to do in Atlantic City.  A childhood favorite of mine!!!

The pics of you in your sunday best are super cute.
So who does all the adventure planning in your family? It seems like you guys are always up to something and i know it takes a lot of time to find out what to do, where, and when.
