Fall Fun
What a great season this is! It has been busy but fun. Here are a few things we've been up to.
Apple Picking, we just can't get enough of applesauce, dried apples, apple crisp, and even just a good juicy apple for a snack.
Camping...we finally did it. Rachel has been begging ever since the spring.
And really, it's all about the treats right? Licorice, oreos, chips, marshmallows. We had a great time!
Jake entered a 5K race and all of us did the one mile fun run before it started.
And I had to document these things. I stood in line for like 3 hours for these and they didn't last long.
They're worth it though

Camping is definitely all about the treats...Mmmm. That picture of Kate in the camping chair is the spittin' image of you Mel. Cute pictures, you guys are always doing something fun.

Camping is so much work, but I can see from the photos that the kids were in heaven. You guys are good parents. I'm loving apple season as well, but I know that NJ, the garden state, really does outshine everywhere else in fresh fruit.
Camping is a lot of work! So way to be awesome and do it. I also love the kids running to meet Jake after his race. So cute!
One thing we missed was more camping this summer. Looks so fun!
So...how do you guys do the camping thing? Pat and I can't figure it out with a baby and we really want to. You know how I feel about camping, but it's just not working for us.....well, we've only tried the backyard - but it seriously didn't work with a baby. Please give me details.
Please re-take that picture of Jake with the kids on his back in a few years just to see if they still fit. They're growing up so fast!
