Rachel is learning about the American Revolution this year in school and the class took a field trip to Philadelphia. Pretty cool! We spent a good amount of time in the new Franklin Institute, which was also very cool.
Four KIDS...my baby is growing up!And she is a walker now!!
Blurry picture but this was too funny to forget. We went out as a family to get new boots for the kids. Jake couldn't find socks for Lily so he put Kate's mittens on her feet. I didn't notice until we were at the store. Then I couldn't stop laughing because she looked like a monkey walking around like that.
Preschool co-op, once a week, switching houses. So we only teach once a month. I really enjoy it!! Kate looks forward to every Monday.
I must say, it is nice to have the pleasures of a mountain of leaves without the raking. Although we still don't own our own home, there are some nice perks.
This girl can eat! As the rest of my kids complain how they don't like soup...she quietly sits in the corner and gobbles it all up. And she does it all on her own!

First snow of the season (actually came while we were cruising, so we missed it) but it's always so exciting. We sure have had our fair share again this winter. This seems so long ago...will winter ever end?!
Thanksgiving
The day after Thanksgiving Jake took care of the kids and took them to a museum so that I could finally take advantage of the Christmas gift he gave me two years ago. A dance class at Steps on Broadway in New York. I had an absolute blast! It felt so good to be at it again, despite the inflexibility and the ability to remember sequences seriously lacking!
The kids had a fabulous time as well. WIN WIN...we need to do it again :)
A favorite tradition, cutting down our Christmas tree
Trader Joes is seriously dangerous this time of year
