Durango and Wedding

We enjoyed the last of our trip in Durango, Colorado (what a beautiful place!) for our "Herway" family reunion.  So fun to be all together...it had been 4 years!

Early morning card games.  Gotta love vacation!
Playing piano with bananas...we love "Cap ee tan Noel" (Captain)
Hot springs a short walk away
One morning we had a "Girl's Morning" which started off with yoga led by Grammie
Then breakfast at a local French Bakery.  Delicious and super fun!
 Hiking in Pergatory
The team of boys that headed out for a long, very long bike ride along the Hermosa Creek trail.  We were grateful they made it back alive.

 Seriously breathtaking scenery!
Grammie and Pop with most the grandkids
"The hills are alive..."  I couldn't help but think of the Sound of Music.
Along with lots of playing, we did lots of food preparation.  My sister-in-law is amazing and took it upon herself to cater the wedding.  Tons of work, but the food was absolutely fantastic.  Jake and I did the cake.  Jake baked it, and I frosted it...it came out pretty good considering getting stuck in the pan and being super crumby.
 Silly boys
Rachel was so honored to be a flower girl.

The happy, beautiful couple Nicole and Jed.  What a fabulous venue for the wedding with an incredible backdrop.  We're so happy for these guys, they're the best!

Tommy was such a stud.  I loved him with his bow tie and suspenders.
A wedding with a bouncy house!!  Can't get more fun than that!
I've said it before, but this girl can dance.  She loves tearing up the dance floor!
Our final day a big group went river rafting.  They all had a great time.  Rachel and Tommy loved it and had an absolute blast.
Now, if we could only do this more often...
