Black and White and Blue

What we're willing to do for some free Chick-fil-A...Friday was Cow Appreciation Day and everyone who dressed like a cow got a free combo meal. We're definitely making this tradition. Rachel really enjoyed making her "costume" and they had fun games and prizes as well.
Tommy and I tried the new peach shake...very delicious!
On Saturday we headed out into the countryside of South Carolina and went blueberry picking. So much fun! I could have been out there all day. Rachel really got into it and Tommy enjoyed eating them. They really were the best blueberries I've ever tasted. We also got some melt-in-your-mouth-to-die-for peaches!

I made a Blueberry Crisp with a recipe I found from Martha Stewart and even made some homemade vanilla ice cream. Honestly...heavenly.
Tommy thought so too.

A few of those pictures I could see Bryn in Rachel. They are definitely cousins!

Dang it, I missed dress like a cow day?! I think they do it more than once a year because I thought it was later, like in the fall!

Homemade ice cream even?! That blueberry crisp looks so good. And I do have to say that I think Tommy looks a tad like Jake now. Before I thought he was all Grossen, but I see a little Jake in there.
