Marching through

The whole month of March was still freezing, except for one or maybe two days.  Such a tough tough winter we had.
This girl turned 18 months!!!!!!
Few facts:
Words - uh-oh, bye bye, mama, dada, eyes, the sounds of one, two, three, zip, toe, bubble, hat
LOVES to eat...she is often found in the kitchen, near or in the fridge
LOVES baths
Great on the stairs and plays very well independently
Likes to play in the bathroom...it's trouble!
Gives a great pouty face, with her arms crosses too.

Cutsie faces

My big helper on St. Patricks Day
Green dinner...green enchiladas with spinach and avocados.  One of my kids' favorite dinners!
Tommy finished his first chapter book!  Kind of a big deal for this kid.  He does not especially love reading, although he has made really great progress this year.  I did think this book was a bit too advanced for him but he insisted and was motivated, so why stop him?  Got any boy book suggestions? ;)
 Another snow day
Which happened to be the first day of spring.  What a terrible joke.
Our annual tradition on the first day of spring.  I wasn't planning on taking the kids to get their free Rita's Ice because of the weather, but they still wanted it!
Tommy put on four pair of underwear.  They were frozen!
 Sledding with her friend Kayla

Preschool at our house.  Please Pass the Pancakes, Peas, and Popcorn.  Got a little manners lesson in there.
And we Painted our P Pig Pink after reading If You Give a Pig a Pancake.  I have a lot of fun!
Some days it feels like Lily is attached to my hip.  Not very often, she's usually very independent.  But I had to document it.
Story time never ceases to amaze me

Tommy going on an Easter egg hunt with his "golden best friend" Aiden

 Work from home ;)

Goodbye high chair...she will have nothing to do with it anymore.  She is such a big girl these days and wants to do everything like the big kids.
Even though it's freezing outside the kids just know they are suppose to play outside in the spring.
Jake got us all tickets to see the Peking Acrobats at the local theater.  I was not expecting the amazing show it was.  I was blown out of my seat.  The stunts were unbelievable.  Their strength and their flexibility and balance!!!!  Whoa!  My jaw was hanging open the entire time.  It was the most entertaining show I have ever seen.

How fun! Sorry for all of that cold cold weather! I can't believe how grown up Lily looks. 6 months sure changes things! Just like always...it looks like you guys have been doing super fun things!

Hurray for Tommy reading his first chapter book. Maybe he will like the boxcar children?
I'm sorry you've had a long winter... but we had no snow at all and that sledding sure looks fun!

That 'working from home' shot is a crack-up. If you were amazed at the acrobat show, then it had to be amazing. Glad you had such a nice surprise!
