One morning Rachel woke up and first thing she wanted was to go to the "castle." So Jake thought he would oblige (even at 6am!) but didn't know what she was talking about (although he was the first to call this non denominational church the "castle") So they went on a walk, with Rachel leading the way. After walking a mile, both on foot he finally realized what she was talking about and they turned around to get the car.

This church may look big in the picture, but it's not...it's HUGE!We had a great 4th of July. Participated in a neighborhood parade of our friends the Larsons, and went swimming. Rachel took a 4 hour nap (a new record!) and we went to a stake activity, showing up 2 hours late and just in time for the food :) We did fireworks in our neighborhood and Rachel still hates them. Tommy didn't seem to bothered by them though.

This is so Jake, don't you think? With only one, small car and something that doesn't fit...he always seems to make it work. I love that guy!

Wowzer! What great deck furniture! You will love, love, love it! The Rach is getting way too big. Tell her to stop....at least until I can see her again. And thanks for spelling "Marshtamellows" I can hear her saying it.

That is so cute about the castle. And yes Jake does have mad skills...remember packing the moving truck? We were all pretty determined to make that work. :)
Great pictures. I am glad that you all had a very festive 4th. Rachel is so cute and I can't believe how big Tommy is. WOW! Time sure flies. I am excited to see you in a week.

The car, the chairs, and the way he is standing there and the look on his face....totally my brother Jaron! those two were quite the characters growing up! so fun to see them as adults.
